ReplyDeletei keep looking at your art and i'm so fucking jealous. there's a reason you have an emmy and i'm just stuck here with my cable ACE award.
ReplyDeleteOh Colin. First you blow me away with the best art so far of any challenge. Then you take a route on this one so unexpected, yet so dead on. If the end of the world were coming, who would want to wallow in their misery? You'd want to let loose and enjoy the last of life. Not to say your mix is all sunshine and Gummi Bears. It's tinged in darkness like Major Tom, 99 Red Balloons (prefer the Luftballoons personally) and the BRILLIANT Faint track.
ReplyDeleteOverall, this really showcases the aspects of your musical preferences I love. Pretty much a flawless collection.
I love and respect that your mind went here on this challenge. The artwork hit me with a smile. You lit a dance-infused bomb and as each track progresses, I appreciate the subtle messages I can pull from so many of the choices. Yep, this is the music I want to hear at that End of the World Party in December 2012.
